Khmer Amarak Performing Arts
Our youth-focused Khmer traditional robam (dance) and pleng (music) program runs continuously throughout the year. Our youth practice through fall and winter in preparation for our largest event, the annual Khmer New Year show, and well into the summer as they are invited to perform at various public events around Seattle and King County. Note that the program will implement breaks around the slow seasons such as when school starts up.
Khmer Amarak is currently meeting for weekly practices every Sunday. Please direct inquiries to daniellek@kcskc.org.

Khmer Amarak Performing Arts is always FREE to all participants, generously supported by funding from 4Culture.
Khmer New Year Celebration 2026
Come celebrate the New Year with Khmer food and performing arts! This year’s event will feature traditional Khmer music and dance performances by Khmer Amarak Performing Arts students and elders from the Khmer Senior Village. Our youth and elders have been hard at work learning and practicing for the show—you won’t want to miss this opportunity to see them perform on stage!
